SanZap Download

Privacy

Short, because there is not much. The app sends us nothing about what you watch, and this website is not interested in who you are.

The app, on your television or phone

Your provider's username, password and playlist URL are stored on the device and nowhere else, encrypted. Your channel list, guide, favourites, what you watched and where you stopped are all on the device. None of it is sent to us, and there is no account to make with us.

Your login goes to your provider, and only to your provider, in whatever form that provider accepts. Most IPTV providers only accept plain HTTP, which is not encrypted, so on those your username and password cross the network readable by anyone on the path — the same as they would in any other player. Where your provider offers HTTPS, use its HTTPS address.

There are no usage analytics. The app does not report what you watch, when, or for how long — not to us and not to anyone else. There are no advertisements in it.

If the app crashes it can send a crash report to Sentry, the crash-reporting service we use, with the provider credentials and licence stripped out of it. That is the only thing it sends on its own.

The Google Play version

If you installed SanZap from Google Play, Pro is a Google Play subscription. Google sells it and holds your payment details; the app only asks Google Play whether this Google account has Pro, and we never see who you are. The Google Play version does not contact this website at all.

What this website stores

The whole list:

Web server logs hold IP addresses for a short time, the way every web server does, and are rotated away. There are no tracking scripts, no advertising tags and no third-party fonts on this site — which is also why it loads quickly on a bad connection.

When the app from this website talks to us

Twice in a year: once when you pair a television to unlock Pro, and once when it renews your licence about a year later. It also asks whether a newer build exists, which is a request for a version number and tells us nothing about the device asking.

It never contacts us when it starts. Your licence is checked on the device against a key built into the app, so SanZap keeps working with us switched off entirely.

Getting rid of it

Uninstalling the app removes everything it kept on the device. To have your licence record deleted, ask info@sansansolutions.nl. Your payment records are the seller's — Google's for a Google Play subscription, our payment provider's for a licence from this site — and are kept as long as tax law requires.
